FDB Møbler is a Danish furniture brand, founded in 1942, known for its minimalist and functional designs, designed to be accessible to all.

Relaunched in 2013, it reissues classics of Scandinavian design while introducing new pieces inspired by its heritage. The furniture, made of certified wood, combines durability and timeless aesthetics.

Danish furniture designer Poul M. Volther was known for his unique talent in designing high-quality furniture for mass production.

He designed some of the most iconic furniture of the era, which furnished many modern homes built during the advancement of the welfare state in the decades following World War II. His simple, functionalist language was rooted in craftsmanship, and his furniture was designed to be flexible and adapted to everyday life.

His J46 Radius Back Chair from 1956 is one of his best-known designs and is the best-selling chair in Denmark.
