FDB Møbler is a Danish furniture brand, founded in 1942, known for its minimalist and functional designs, designed to be accessible to all.

Relaunched in 2013, it reissues classics of Scandinavian design while introducing new pieces inspired by its heritage. The furniture, made of certified wood, combines durability and timeless aesthetics.

Jørgen Bækmark is the creator of several iconic Danish furniture pieces. From 1958, he headed the design studio at FDB Møbler for nine years, where he helped make designer furniture accessible to everyone.

Inspired by the Danish design tradition, his furniture is distinguished by its beauty and calm, as well as its quality of execution and attention to detail. His furniture exudes a unique harmony, as evidenced by his classic J80 and J81 dining chairs. But above all, Jørgen Bækmark has always strived to make furniture that is a pleasure to sit in.
