This Berber rug called Azilal takes its name from the Azilal region in Morocco where it was made by hand on a traditional wooden loom.
Its patterns represent the moods, loves, and sorrows of the weaver at the time of her creation. Once this colorful Berber carpet is created, she will make another totally different one, depending on her emotions at the moment. This Berber rug represents more than a month of weaving.
