Palo Santo
Palo Santo, also known as sacred wood, is an aromatic tree found on the South American coast. It has a very pleasant aroma and is part of the citrus family with sweet notes of pine, mint and lemon.
Traditionally used by indigenous communities for its medicinal and spiritual healing properties, the therapeutic benefits of sacred wood are numerous. Palo Santo wood is obtained naturally by collecting fallen branches. No trees are cut or damaged in the process.
Fallen branches are collected by hand by local communities in Peru and Ecuador. Local activity helps support small farms and productive cooperatives in South America.
Use a candle, match or lighter to light a piece of your sacred wood. Let it burn for 30 seconds to a minute. Extinguish the flame by waving your hand.
Walk into the space where you want to clear the energy. Enjoy the white, spiritual and soothing smoke of the sacred wood.
Place the stick in a fireproof container. You can use it again until it runs out.
