Jamini uses block printing or Dabu, a technique of hand printing using carved wooden blocks, originated in Rajasthan and is now widespread throughout India.

Jamini uses this process for some of his designs, without wanting to use it too much, because there are many other skills to exploit and it is also Jamini's vocation to play the explorer in search of the rarest crafts.
